Gregory and Kia Freeman are no strangers to television and film production. As graduates of Delaware State University with degrees in Mass Communications: both Kia and Gregory have followed their dreams of becoming filmmakers.
Shortly after graduating, Kia moved to Washington DC in 2006 and launched Free Mind TV & Films with her now husband Gregory Freeman. They have produced public awareness videos, marketing videos and short documentaries for dozens of non-profit organizations, small businesses and government agencies throughout Washington DC and the surrounding areas.
After building their foundation in Washington DC, Gregory and Kia have launched their creative arm and most recently produced three feature films. The films include "All In" starring Lil Mama, Elise Neal and Jim Jones, "Sinners Wanted" a faith based film starring Lamman Rucker and Clifton Powell, which had a special screening at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2018 and "Secrets" starring Denyce Lawton, Denise Boutte' and Tobias Truvillion which premiered on BET in 2017 and is now available on iTunes and UMC.
Kia and Gregory are currently working on a television project with Washington DC native, Comedian Earthquake and Jermaine Smith.
